The Parrottsville Ruritan Club and City of Parrottsville will host the annual Christmas celebration and parade on December 3, 2016. On Saturday, the parade staging begins at 1 p.m. at Parrottsville Elementary School, which is the same time a live radio remote begins with "Cowboy Kevin" on 92.3 WNPC. The Parrottsville Christmas Parade will begin at 3 p.m. sharp, followed by a visit from Santa Claus in Parrott-Larue-Myers Park for the City of Parrottsville's Christmas In The Park. There will also be a tree lighting ceremony Friday evening at 6 p.m., followed by a old fashion Christmas dinner. Come and join the festivities and/or enter a float! The parade is free to watch and free to enter!

The annnual Christmas In The Park celebration will take place after the parade in Parrott-Larue-Myers Park. The celebration will include kid games, Frosty The Snowman, free hot chocolate, and Santa Claus!
The City of Parrottsville will host an "Old Fashion Christmas Dinner" at the Parrottsville United Methodist Church in downtown following the Christmas tree lighting. The dinner includes ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, cornbread, dressing, gravy, french onion soup, and a dessert. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the event.
